We are proud to present the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre 4th Annual AJ Art Festival of the Superstitions brought to you by DST Creative, Central Arizona College and the Superstition Area Cultural Alliance. (SACA)
Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Arizona’a premier dinner theatre experience, is pleased to sponsor the 4th Annual AJ Art Festival Of The Superstitions. This event will be held on November 14 and 15, 2009 from 9:00 am. until 5:00 pm. on Saturday the 14th and 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday the 15th at Central Arizona College Superstition Mountain Campus in Apache Junction, Arizona. This is a juried fine-art show with live musical entertaiment, theatrical performance groups and new this year, the “Taste Of The Superstitions “ sponsored by Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, and Amercia’s Cuisine Arizona.
Other attractions include the East Valley Ford Model T Club exhibiting their classic old-time automobiles. There will be live artists demonstrations throughout the event. We are adding a Creative Consumables area to the festival this year. This will be for vendors who make culinary dry goods, salsa, barbeque sauces, lotions and other packaged goods. This area will be near the Taste of the Superstitions.
The mural filled courtyard of Central Arizona College Superstition Mountain Campus is a great venue for an arts event. Saturday evening November 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. there is “Sippin’ Cider With SACA III”, a meet and greet the artists, silent art auction and show awards presentations in room 444 at CAC. There will be refreshments and entertaiment. This is hosted by the Superstition Area Cultural Alliance (SACA) and is open to the public. The cost to enter the festival is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for seniors 65 and older and children under 12. A portion of the proceeds benefit the five area non-profit charities that have booths on the event grounds free of charge. There is also a Kid Zone with free art activities for kids hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley-Apache Junction Branch. No alcohol or firearms are allowed on campus or at this event.
Bring the entire family out and enjoy a day with the artists! On Sunday November 15, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Internationally acclaimed singing cowboy Pioneer Pepper and the Sunset Pioneers will perform a concert on the event courtyard. The cost of event entry gets you into the concert. Come on out and experience the greatest, funniest, bestest, cowboy stage show around! Tempt your pallette with lunch at the Taste of The Superstitions and see some great family entertaiment, surrounded by some of the finest artists and their work in the Superstition region.
